Do you have any questions?
Our FAQs - Here you will find answers to our frequently asked questions.
Application & Dosage
The dosage is simple and straightforward: Large horses (500 kg and over) receive one heaped scoop (50 g) daily, while small horses and ponies (up to 500 kg) receive half a scoop (25 g). The enclosed scoop contains exactly 50 g, so you can't go wrong. Start with half the amount for the first few days so your horse can get used to the taste.
It's best to mix Pferdegold pellets into your horse's usual concentrate feed or some moistened hay. Whether you give them in the morning or evening isn't so important – what matters is regular daily administration. However, studies and many customer experiences show that administering them after training can be particularly effective.
No problem! You can feed the pellets plain by hand or mix them into mash, water, or oil and pour them over the hay or into the trough. They'll also happily eat them mixed with carrot or apple pieces. Just remember: Don't mix them too long in advance.
Effect & Results
Every horse is different. Some show initial changes after just 2–3 weeks, others need 6–8 weeks. You'll achieve the best results with long-term feeding over several months. Remember: Real change takes time – just like with us humans.
Absolutely! Pferdegold Nerven 2.0 is suitable for horses of all ages. Older horses, in particular, often benefit most from the high-quality amino acid supply, as their metabolism sometimes doesn't utilize nutrients as efficiently as it did when they were younger.
Pferdegold Nerven 2.0 is a supplementary feed containing important minerals and vitamins. However, if your horse is experiencing particular behavioral issues, you should definitely consult your veterinarian about whether a supplement is appropriate.
Safety & Compatibility
Pferdegold Nerven 2.0 is made from natural, feed-grade ingredients. When used correctly, there are no known side effects. If you notice any, simply reduce the dosage or take a short break. Our customer service team will be happy to assist you at any time.
Basically, yes. Just make sure there are no duplicate ingredients. Nerven 2.0 already provides a complete supply of magnesium and B vitamins – usually, no additional magnesium source is necessary. If you're unsure, just ask our customer service team – the consultation is free.
Yes, all ingredients of Pferdegold Nerven 2.0 are approved feed and do not contain any doping-relevant substances.
Quality & Ingredients
We're proud of three unique innovations: As the first product on the German market to our knowledge, it contains six different magnesium sources for optimal bioavailability plus a complete B vitamin complex. We've also replaced molasses with premium seaweed flour. This combination is unique to us.
Many horse owners wanted a sugar-free alternative. Instead of molasses, we now use the even higher-quality seaweed meal, which also provides natural minerals and trace elements.
All ingredients are of feed-grade quality and sourced from certified suppliers. The vitamins are produced to pharmaceutical standards, and the seaweed comes from controlled cultures. Quality without compromise – that's our promise.
Practical questions
A 3 kg bucket is enough for 60 days for a large horse (50 g daily) and 120 days for a small horse (25 g). Ideal for our subscription – you'll never run out of feed.
With 50,000 units sold, our return rate is only 1%. If your horse is an exception, try applesauce, mashed carrots, or a splash of linseed oil. Mash with warm water often helps, too. Start with a small amount and increase gradually – most horses adapt quickly.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light – ideally in the sealed original container. This ensures all ingredients remain active for a long time. Please do not store in damp rooms or in direct sunlight.
Economic issues
You'll save 20% permanently, get free shipping, and exclusive gifts and cashback points. Best of all, you can cancel or adjust delivery intervals at any time. No more empty food – and save money at the same time.
Just do the math: For a large horse, the daily ration costs around €2.00 – less than a cup of coffee. For that, you get five sources of magnesium plus a premium-quality B vitamin complex. That's really fair.
Yes! You can try it risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you'll get your money back. So you can test it risk-free.

What are the benefits of magnesium for horses?

How quickly does magnesium work in horses?
The effect of magnesium can vary depending on the horse's individual needs and condition. However, horses typically begin to show positive changes within a few days to weeks of starting supplementation.
A balanced magnesium level can help the horse feel more relaxed and balanced overall. Furthermore, regular magnesium intake can promote the horse's overall vitality and well-being.
How does a magnesium deficiency manifest itself in horses?
A magnesium deficiency can manifest itself in various symptoms that can affect the horse's overall well-being and performance. Some of the most common signs include:
✘ Muscle cramps or tremors: These can occur because magnesium plays a key role in muscle relaxation. A deficiency can lead to involuntary muscle contractions, causing discomfort for the horse.
✘ Increased nervousness and nervousness in horses: Magnesium supports nerve function. A deficiency can cause the horse to become more sensitive to environmental stimuli and generally more nervous.

Can you overdose on magnesium in a horse?
